Interested in CR2C2 activities and engagement opportunities?
This past week, our team had the privilege of hosting a group of bright and curious 3rd–5th grade students, faculty, and staff from a local Robotics & Coding Camp. Upon their visit to our ACCESS Laboratory, they received a hands-on introduction to the world of STEM, innovation, and possibility.
We shared with the students an overview of our work and the types of real-world problems we're solving with technology. The highlight for many students? A live demonstration that brought their lessons to life in our immersive lab environment.
One of the most memorable moments came during our drone flight simulations. As students took turns engaging with the technology, we watched curiosity transform into confidence as they asked our doctorial research students questions.
Visits like these serve as powerful reminders of why outreach matters. At CR2C2, we believe that fostering a love for science and technology starts with creating opportunities for exploration. We’re grateful to the Robotics & Coding Camp for making this connection possible, and we can’t wait to welcome even more future changemakers into our space.
