Rural AV Test Track
Interested in CR2C2 activities and engagement opportunities?
A two-mile private test track in North Carolina A&T Gateway Research Park is available to researchers in CR2C2 for testing and evaluating prototyped vehicles and driving experiments. The track resembles rural environments and features unique rural road characteristics such as sharp curves, varying lane widths, stop-controlled intersections, unmarked shoulders, and changes in elevation. The test track is adjacent to the CAV lab, which offers a large garage space with supporting equipment and tools.
