The CR2C2 Student Leadership Council collaborated with the ITE Student Chapter at NC A&T to organize an engaging and informative seminar on October 7, 2025, featuring Mike Reese, P.E., C.P.M., President of the North Carolina Section of ITE (NCSITE) and Western Regional Engineer at NCDOT's Traffic Management Unit.
The CR2C2 Student Leadership Council (SLC) at North Carolina A&T State University proudly collaborated with the university's ITE Student Chapter to host an engaging speaker event featuring transportation professionals Tranell Guthrie and Aishwarya Sharma from Kittelson & Associates on Thursday, September 18th.
The CR2C2 Student Leadership Council (SLC) is grateful to CR2C2 and the Transportation Institute at NCA&T for providing us with the opportunity to engage with this year's Summer Transportation Institute (STI) cohort during their facility tour.

Komal Gulati, a PhD student in Electrical Engineering and Chair of the CR2C2 Student Leadership Council, was honored to be selected for the highly competitive 2025 Leadership Development Conference (LDC) organized by the Eno Center for Transportation in Washington, D.C.
SLC members Komal, Oladimeji, Hao, Tahmina, and Javier contributed to CR2C2’s outreach efforts with an innovative video presentation at Greensboro Middle School in Alabama.
One of our outstanding CR2C2 students, Oladimeji Alaka, whose research poster titled “Investigating Automated Shuttle Readiness for Rural Areas: North Carolina Case Study” was recognized for excellence at the 2025 NCDOT Research and Innovation Symposium!
