The Center for Regional and Rural Connected Communities (CR2C2) proudly recognizes Soheila Saeidi, a PhD student in Transportation Engineering in the Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geomatics Engineering at Florida Atlantic University and a Graduate Research Assistant with CR2C2, for receiving two prestigious scholarships during the fall 2025 semester.
Saeidi was selected as a recipient of the 2025 ASCE Broward Branch Annual Scholarship, which honors exceptional academic achievement and commitment to the civil engineering profession. She was recognized during the ASCE Broward Branch Installation Dinner held on October 9, 2025 at the Pelican Grand in Fort Lauderdale.
Further highlighting her accomplishments, Saeidi was also awarded the 2025–2026 ASHE South Florida General Academic Scholarship from the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) South Florida Section. She was recognized at the organization’s scholarship event on November 19, 2025 at the 94th Aero Squadron in Miami.
These recognitions reflect Saeidi’s dedication to advancing transportation engineering research and her continued commitment to academic excellence. CR2C2 celebrates her achievements and looks forward to her continued contributions to the future of transportation innovation.
