CR2C2 Student Spotlight: Oladimeji Alaka Honored at 2025 NCDOT Research and Innovation Symposium
One of our outstanding CR2C2 students, Oladimeji Alaka, whose research poster titled “Investigating Automated Shuttle Readiness for Rural Areas: North Carolina Case Study” was recognized for excellence at the 2025 NCDOT Research and Innovation Symposium!
Oladimeji’s work explores how emerging autonomous transportation solutions—specifically automated shuttles—can be effectively deployed in rural areas to improve mobility, access, and equity. His case study focused on rural communities in North Carolina, offering thoughtful insights and practical frameworks for implementation.
In recognition of the effectiveness and technical excellence of his project, Oladimeji was awarded a $2,500 scholarship during the symposium’s award ceremony. His research stands as a testament to the innovative spirit and commitment to equity that drives CR2C2’s mission.
