CR2C2 Hosts NCDOT Roadshow
On February 26, the Center for Rural and Regional Connected Communities (CR2C2) welcomed North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) to North Carolina A&T State University for a roadshow event.
This visit brought together key leaders from NCDOT, including Curtis T. Bradley, Jay Kim, Bojan Cvijetic, PE, Wright Archer, Catherine Bryant, and Chris Smitherman.
Their engagement with NC A&T faculty opened the door to meaningful conversations around innovation, infrastructure, and the future of transportation in the state. Throughout the day, attendees had the opportunity to dive into NCDOT’s research initiatives and discuss the range of programs NCDOT has designed to foster academic partnerships and innovation, including the Annual Research Program, Technology Transfer initiatives, and the Technical Assistance Program. These offerings presented valuable opportunities for faculty, students, and researchers to apply their knowledge and creativity toward real-world transportation challenges.
