The Center for Regional and Rural Connected Communities (CR2C2) recently welcomed more than 20 members from the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials (COMTO) for an immersive facility tour at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University.
During the visit, participants explored CR2C2’s advanced drone and autonomous vehicle laboratories and learned about ongoing research focused on rural mobility, smart infrastructure, and connected transportation systems. The tour provided an opportunity to highlight real-world applications of emerging transportation technologies while strengthening engagement with industry and workforce partners committed to advancing innovation in the field.
