Abstract: This study analyzes freight network resilience using telematics data from the EROAD system during three major disruptions: the 2020 Oregon forest fires, Hurricane Florence in 2018, and the 2024 I-55 Mississippi River Bridge closure. By examining freight movement before, during, and after each event, it identifies how networks respond, adapt routes, and recover. The EROAD dataset segmented freight data into time periods, revealing shifts in route usage and congestion. GIS analysis visualized traffic density and bottlenecks, highlighting impacts on freight movement. The findings emphasize network resilience, disruption effects on infrastructure, and supply chain efficiency, offering performance measures for agencies to enhance resilience and guide future studies. The results aim to inform infrastructure investments, disaster preparedness, and freight system resilience.
